Endorsements
Liz has spent nearly 30 years developing personal relationships with Lions across Multiple District 4, Constitutional Area 1 and around the world. Some of these Lions have been mentors, others have been students, and many have volunteered alongside her in hands-on service to the community. Most importantly, they have become friends. Here’s what some of them have to say about her.
I first met Lion Liz when I was serving on my first ALLI faculty assignment in 2012. I was immediately impressed by her enthusiasm and dedication to getting the job done in the best possible way.
Her passion for leadership development was evident in the way she interacted with the Lions she was instructing as well as her fellow faculty members.
Lion Liz was always ready to help with a session or share a tip or trick that would make your presentation run a little smoother.
We have served together many time since that first experience and I have found her to be a loyal and trustworthy friend, always ready to listen and help.
She is a caring, dedicated, knowledgeable and qualified Lion and will be a great addition to our International Board.
I heartily endorse Lion Liz Crooke for this position.

My first experience receiving Lions training Lion was from Lion Liz. I went to her GLT session on becoming a Zone Chair and found it so interesting and helpful that I decided to become a Zone Chair the next Lions term. Since then, like with many who may read this, Lion Liz has become a role model and mentor. Lion Liz’s ability to explain and communicate, and her positive outlook, and importantly her integrity and kindness, are just a few of the attributes that will make her a superb International Director. Liz was an instructor for the ELLI program brought back under LCI in Tampa 2012. LCI pulled out all the stops to get incredibly qualified, personable and caring Lions to serve as our faculty. I have been a member of the Carmel Host Lions Club for more than 44 years, and currently the immediate past President. I have known Liz for more that 30 years, and I think she first joined Carmel Host Lions in 1996 and was our president in 2000-01 Lions year. After that she transferred to the Salinas Host Club because of her work. After that she retired and became much more involved with Lions becoming district governor and chair of the Council of Governors. More recently she has become President of the Lions Building for the Blind of Monterey County.
I think Liz Crooke is very dependable, capable, and committed to Lions International and would be a great International Director.

I have been a Lion since 1981 and have interfaced with Lion Liz many times over the years. It is well known she is a leader. She possesses the character traits that have allowed her to rise in the ranks without ever leaving the interests of the Clubs behind. She understands the needs, the wants, and the everyday struggles as Club members unite to serve those in need. This is exactly the type of leadership that will benefit Lions Clubs International and those of us that serve.
